Showing Solidarity With Pete

Pete is currently working to have his death sentence reviewed by the trial court due to a number of issues, but he needs help with his appeal process. After roughly 15 years incarcerated and much effort made at self-improvement,  he hopes to be released from solitary confinement, have access to religious, rehabilitative and educational  programs, and to one day have the opportunity for parole. Here are a few ways to support him:

1. Buy his book, Texas Death Row Yogi, where you can learn more about his journey out of darkness through yoga and meditation. We have also made a flyer for promotional purposes, which is available here: https://www.meditate-4-peace.com/flyer

2. Submit a picture or video for our site of your yoga or meditation practice. You can also post it on your social media using the hashtags #meditatewithpete,  #yogawithpete, and #SolidarityWithPeteRussell.

** Email it to us at: txdeathrowyogi@gmail.com **

3. Send him a card or letter! Pete would love to get to know others with interest in meditation and yoga and he never gets tired of making friends.  His address is:
